Dental X-rays have come a long way. Today’s dental X-rays are safer, faster, more comfortable and more informative than the X-rays of years past. At Bright Young Smiles we have the latest DEXIS™ Platinum Sensors which are a breakthrough direct-USB digital x-ray solution. This single-sensor concept is portable, comfortable, and with PureImage™ Technology, the image quality is even more remarkable.

We combine our digital X-rays sensors with our hand-held Kavo NOMAD Pro 2 X-ray system. From its safety, portability and excellent image capture, it’s design is ideal for both our clinicians and our patients.

Digital X-rays allow us to produce high-quality images of your teeth that can be viewed instantly by you and your dentist on a high-definition LCD monitor.

Digital X-rays reduce radiation by up to 90% and provide exceptional diagnostic information to ensure that potential problems are caught in their earliest stages.

Intra-oral photography is another advancement that is used in addition to our digital X-rays. With intra-oral photography, problems such as cavities, fractures and discolorations in the teeth are captured through clear and sharp photographic images that are taken with an intra-oral digital camera and or our high end DSLR camera. With digital imaging our patients take an active role in the diagnosis and review of their dental conditions. Treatment plans are better understood which allows our patients to make more educated and informed decisions about their dental health.
